This ranch style home was built in the 60's. It had already received a lot of updates: an open floor plan, new flooring, new kitchen, and new paint, but my client stalled out and didn't know how to finish off the space. After working together over time, I narrowed down her style: traditional with clean lines and hints of rustic finishes.
The end result is beautiful. The fireplace is now finished and features a clean millwork design which was carried over to the built-in area next to it. The furnishings and accessories are warm, inviting, and comfortable.
My favorite part is that my client now loves having people over to her home and entertaining. Something she didn't do for years since her home was unfinished.
